The Fraserburgh BIG Ideas Project aims to tackle rising vacancy levels and falling footfall in the town centre. By offering targeted financial support, it will help bring empty units back into use and help new and existing businesses start trading. The project’s goal is to boost visitor numbers, increase local spending, strengthen the town centre economy and support long‑term community investment.
Public Engagement Results
A public survey ran from 11 March to 12 April 2026 to gather views on priorities for the town centre. The analysed results are available under the Documents tab and have informed the grant fund criteria and data for applicants.
