Grant Fund Applications Open
The Fraserburgh BIG Ideas grant fund has been developed to address increasing vacancy rates and declining footfall within the town centre. Through targeted financial support, the grant fund will help bring vacant premises back into use while supporting both new and existing businesses to start, grow, or expand their operations.
By encouraging investment in the town centre, the project aims to increase visitor numbers, boost local spending, strengthen the local economy, and support long-term community regeneration.

To help shape the project, a public survey was carried out between 11 March and 12 April 2026 to gather views on priorities for Fraserburgh town centre. The survey findings have informed the grant fund criteria and supporting guidance for applicants. A summary of the analysed results is available under the Documents tab.
